Esta iniciativa regional busca reducir el impacto del cambio climático en la región a través de la plantación de árboles en toda Centroamérica y sensibilizar a la población regional invitándola a formar parte de la campaña.
El proceso de plantación se realiza permanentemente a través de grupos voluntarios y anualmente se asigna una fecha simbólica (regularmente el último sábado de junio), donde se invita a jóvenes, adultos, familias y sociedad civil en general a sumarse al esfuerzo a fin de alcanzar las metas de plantación que se establecen.
